Our chairman of judges and co-founder, Pete Brown, said: “The landscape of beer and cider marketing is changing rapidly. What was once best practice no longer is. When you see all the entries together – from multinational brewing companies and giant cider brands, through regional breweries to microbrewers and small scale cideries – all the judges learned a hell of a lot and we can’t wait to share this learning and insight at the awards evening and afterwards.
Jo Miller our co-founder and judge added: ‘We had a record number of entries again this year and the debate to get to the final shortlist was lively and rich. Ultimately some people did miss out on reaching this far and we would encourage anybody wanting to see how they compared to the winners to attend the event and to keep in touch. Each entry was worthy of being entered and a testament to the hard work and creativity in the industry.’
Matthew Clark and their Boutique Beers range are lead sponsors of the event, Justin Wylde, Category Manager – Beer, Cider and Soft Drinks at Matthew Clark, said: “We are pleased to support the Beer and Cider Marketing Awards with Boutique Beers for the third year running. This superb event showcases the best of beer and cider marketing and shares our passion and commitment to these excellent drinks. Marketing is not just billboards and hashtags. its creating experiences, educating and celebrating all that is good in beer and cider, to capture the imagination and reach new audiences.
